From the age of five, Ronald Bennett Williamson has had an eye for fashion and a flair for the dramatic. Fluent in Spanish and deeply rooted in the fine arts, he believes in the beautiful intersectionality of one’s experience and strives to translate that through clothing at Evelyn Brawner. Born in Milwaukee, Williamson has always been involved in fashion from modeling as a child to coordinating charity fashion shows and working as a stylist on photo shoots before starting Evelyn Brawner in 2015. As a student at Ball State University, Williamson has been involved in Rip Or Rave as the host and producer, a member of Fashion Design Society and Unity Week Committee member.
Williamson cites his love of travel and the arts as his major sources of inspiration. Evelyn Brawner, named for his grandmothers, Mildred Brawner Pollard and the late Evelyn M. Williamson, is more than a clothing line – Evelyn Brawner is a lifestyle for women who are confident and comfortable being the center of attention.
