Those involved in the organization and production of this season’s Midwest Fashion Week (MFW) would like to express their utmost gratitude for your interest and support in this amazing event. Each season Midwest Fashion Week grows larger and more exciting because of the extensive community & media support. This season it is all about the power of fashion and its ability to empower individuals & communities and to inspire creativity and philanthropy.
Midwest Fashion Week is set to begin Wednesday October 19th with Home and Fashion Fusion, a Midwest Fashion Week Kickoff Social, to celebrate MFW’s 5th Birthday and to thank supporters ranging from salon owners to past and present sponsors. It will take place at Indianapolis’ beautiful Skyline Club. This invitation-only event will be in the form of a cocktail party and will feature the works of home fashion designers including Tom Vriesman, Jill Wiley, Jeryl Mitsch, and William Marquez. Proceeds from this event will benefit the SOHO organization. On Thursday October 20th Midwest Fashion Week is partnering with MePower Events, a Simply Well company, to present Empowerment Revealed: An ImageCube Naturally You Makeover Reveal This event is will showcase the makeover reveal for contest winner, Sandy Hogan. The reveal will take place at the Fashion Mall at Keystone and will include a fashion show, spring fashion tips, a VIP reception, and various vendors. Proceeds will benefit the I.W.I.N. Foundation of Indiana and their breast cancer programs
On Friday October 21st, Midwest Fashion Week will be hosting Taste of Fashion at downtown restaurant, Sensu. This event comprises of fashion inspired dishes and cocktails, as well as a fashion show by that will include Elizabeth Roney, Jennifer Brickel, Parisa Keywanfard, and many other designers. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Indiana Chapter. As is tradition, the finale runway fashion show for this season’s events will wrap up on Saturday October 22nd with Fashion is Empowerment at the Murat Theatre at Old National Centre. It will feature fashions by numerous designers, including Marlene Thomas, Melissa Tabor, Nataliya Kitic, Amy Kirchen, Amanda Valentine, and Anton Babich. Guests will be treated to live entertainment and on-site shopping with various vendors.
