INDIANAPOLIS, Oct. 13, 2011— Midwest Fashion Week is releasing details regarding its Saturday (Oct. 22nd) finale runway show, Fashion Is Empowerment. The show will feature Spring and Summer 2012 collections by designers from around the world, including Amanda Valentine, Amy Kirchen, Anton Babich, Marlene Thomas, Melissa Tabor, and Nataliya Kitic. In addition to a preview of the following season’s fashions, the event will also include a VIP Reception from 6-8pm featuring music by DJ Gabby Love; a silent auction to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation; hors d’oeuvres; specialty cocktails by Smirnoff Vodka; gift bags including products from Hamilton Facial Plastic Surgery and others; opportunities to mix and mingle with guest designers; a teaser fashion show sponsored by B-Mitchel Fine Jewelry; and priority seating for the fashion show; and access to the after party.
The Fashion is Empowerment final runway show will be hosted by Fox 59 news reporter, Eva Pilgrim, and will feature a live performance by rising music sensation, Bri. All the evenings events, including the VIP Reception, fashion show, and after party will take place at Old National Centre, 502 North New Jersey Street Indianapolis, IN 46204. Doors will open for the fashion show at 7:30pm; the fashion show program will begin at 8:00pm in the Corinthian Hall, and the after party will immediately follow the fashion show. Event attendees can continue their evening at the after party, which will be in the “Amber Room”. The after party will be hosted by RadioNow 100.9 disc jockey, Mikey V. After party guests will be treated to tunes by a number of the area’s best DJs and radio personalities. Fashion is Empowerment tickets are:
