The Ivory Collection is a brand created by Tanya Ivory Mayes. Tanya attended the University of North Texas where she was pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts majoring in Fashion Design and minoring in Marketing. She is also an award winning designer. The Textile and Costume Institute of The Museum of Fine Arts in Houston awarded her the Honorable Mention, Ready-To-Wear 1996 Fine Arts Fashion Award. The Ivory Collection has been featured in WWD and other publications. The Ivory Collection brand incorporates beautiful fabrics in flattering colors with the most appealing cut for design. The Ivory Collection is elegance and calm understated luxury. Tanya has worked on television and film projects including the ABC movie, “King of The World, Muhammad Ali: The story behind his early years” and “The Pirate Island of Jean Lafitte” directed by Grant Mitchell and “Fifth Ward” directed by Greg Carter.
