Designer Spotlight: Dorshelle Guillaume

In our last Designer Spotlight, we introduced you to bridal designer Shawna Marino of Shawna M Designs and in this post we’ll meet another of the designers set to take the stage at MWFW’s Fashion for a Cause later this month. We’re talking about Dorshelle Guillaume, a Haitian American designer who dedicates her self-named fashion label to producing high quality, creative and detail-oriented products. Let’s learn a little more about this talented young professional!

As a young child Dorshelle discovered an interest in fashion design and decided by the age of nine that it was her calling. After years of taking community classes, she went on to graduate from Fashion Institute of Technology, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design. Founded in 2016, Dorshelle Guillaume specializes in unique, modern, fashion forward designs, specifically focusing on intimate apparel, special occasion and bridal. While her list of accolades runs long, she has been featured in Vogue Polska, and also had the opportunity to pull garments for Grammy Award Winner, Alicia Keys. Most recently, she dressed American actress, singer and songwriter, Lena Hall, on the NYFW red carpet.

What a talented young lady! Get your tickets to see her designs live on the runway in Indianapolis on November 22, 2019 at Fashion for a Cause–and be sure to follow Dorshelle Guillaume on Instagram for the latest updates from her fashion empire!
