Midwest Fashion Week Announces Holiday Heroes and International Marketplace Coalition as Charitable Partners for Spring 2018 Showcases
Region’s most prominent fashion event returns to Chicago and Indianapolison April 14 and April 20, respectively
CHICAGO (March 27, 2018) — With the spring season right around the corner, many Midwesterners are anticipating the return of the region’s most prominent fashion event, Midwest Fashion Week.
A showcase of the latest seasonal trends by some of the industry’s brightest up-and-coming designers, this series draws hundreds of influencers, local celebrities and general public, with proceeds going to a designated charitable organization. Today, the Indianapolis-based production company is releasing details regarding dates and not-for-profit partners. The schedule will be as follows:
The Midwest Fashion Week Spring 2018 season will first begin in Chicago on Saturday, April 14 with Fashion for a Cause at 7 p.m. at the W Hotel – City Center (172 West Adams Street, Chicago,Ill. 60603), hosted by international award-winning communications professional and Chicago influencer, Navy Pier’s Payal Patel. Kicking off with a cocktail hour, a runway showcase will follow with live entertainment by DJ Uzo. The charitable partner for this event is Holiday Heroes, a non-profit association that partners with hospitals, businesses, celebrities, and others to give children who are hospitalized due to a critical or chronic illness, a well-needed and deserved dose of fun through a variety of themed parties and celebrations. Early bird admission is $40,with VIP and group pricing also available online.
Midwest Fashion Week will then head east to Indianapolis for its finale show, International Market Fashion, on Friday, April 20 at 7 p.m. at the Indianapolis Artsgarden ( 110 West Washington Street, Indianapolis, Ind. 46204). Featuring the works of established designers, live entertainment and local fashion influencers, this event will benefit the International Marketplace Coalition, a not-for-profit organization comprised of businesses, concerned citizens and community leaders who encourage economic growth and development on the Northwest side of Indianapolis. Early bird admission is $15, with VIP and group packages also available online.
