PARIS, FEBRUARY 26, 2021 — The Midwest-based fashion production company Midwest Fashion Week has announced today its intent to host a virtual fashion show coinciding with Paris Fashion Week, on March 2, 2021. The show was pre-recorded in Indianapolis, Indiana under the creative direction and production of Mariela Sabino, and features couture and ready-to-wear collections by:

  • Shawna Marino – Shawna M Designs
  • Berny Martin – Catou
  • Heather Marie Designs
  • Danny Nguyen Couture
  • Luis Machicao

The fashion show will take place in partnership L’OFFICIEL Magazine (Paris & U.S. editions), a top luxury fashion magazine rooted in Paris and recognized worldwide since 1921. This comes as the Midwest has gained recognition in the international fashion industry. Included in the partnership is a dedicated editorial in their online publication, as well as social media coverage. Since 2006, Midwest Fashion Week has provided a platform for up-and-coming fashion designers from all over the world to showcase their collections, while also building local economy and training fashion professionals including models, photographers, stylists, and more.
